Fourth Post

The freedom is the ability to be completely “authentic” in your walk with God. You only have one thing to focus on the rest of your life. Just one! How many times have we read the verse “seek first the kingdom of God…”, but are you beginning to see what this is really saying. God’s kingdom begins with you. We all know that we cannot have much of an impact or life for that matter, if all we do is go to church on Sun and never open our bibles during the rest of the week. This idea of seeking Him first is…”Falling in Love with God” and allowing Him to take the steering wheel of your life in a way that you may not have experienced before. Focus on one thing…really? Yes really, because when you focus on that and only on that, everything else will take care of itself, with God doing the steering of course.  You will ultimately become the Man God wants you to be(the job is never finished, so you don’t arrive one day as this person), The husband, father, etc. as the result of God now being able to freely move in your life as you walk in step with Him.  Notice I said with Him, not in front or behind, but with.  I had an image of it being like being in a 3-legged race. The only way to run that race without being a hindrance is to stay in step, much like soldiers marching in rank where everything is running smoothly until someone is out of step.  It can be spotted immediately and totally affects the proficiency of what is trying to be accomplished.
